Passions: Whitewater kayaking, off-shore sailing (Intern. Certificate for Yachts), rock climbing, skiing, mountaineering.

1971 First attemps to kayak
1977 Worldchampionship, Silvermedal in Canoe Slalom.
1983 First Seakayaktour in Seattle with Werner Furrer jun. (Werner Paddles)
Since then I have paddled over 10'000 km along the coasts of North America, Scandinavia, Africa, all over the Mediterranean Sea, and also in the Arctic such as Greenland and Spitzbergen 
1983-1986 National coach for the Swiss Canoe Team (Slalom)
1988 Founder of the VERSAM CANOE SCHOOL
1991 First Seakayak Tours for VERSAM CANOE SCHOOL
